Best Mexican Food in East Colorado Springs

The BEST PLACE! Food on point, the right seasoning and authentic. Best place I have been to. Food was fresh. Hand made tortillas for our burritos. The pupusas are made to order. Everything beans rice all fresh homemade. My kids eat up their food quickly and wanted to try other things on the menu. The hospitality amazing, very welcoming and warm. The atmosphere was chill clean. The prices were great. I will be back! 100/100! Thank you to the staff you all are rock stars! Muchisimas gracias!

Back home we have a favorite Mexican restaurant, but Hidalgo's Kitchen is far superior! The quasabirrias were OUTSTANDING. And their guacamole - freshly made -was the best I've had...even beat out some of the best homemade I've had. We also ordered the church's and they were worth the wait! All four of them were also freshly made #HIDALGO'S: So glad i found you on Google maps. You definitely didn't disappoint! We'll be back before we leave for home.

Wonderful experience trying their pupusas. We also ordered the Menudo, which may be an acquired taste for some, but was excellent. We also got their quesabirria tacos with an accompanying auju-like broth (consomme) that was hands down the best dish of the bunch. It's a special, so if you see it, definitely order it! People are really missing out on this diamond in the rough business!

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the menudo and the birria tacos — both were packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh.
